wei, another thing, i realized from the match of last night (netherlands vs russia), the no 7 guy, torbinski, russian midfielder, he looks a bit like johnny depp wor, but of course younger and less macho version...do u think so? hehe.
still sobbing..... wuwu... poor netherlands lost to russia last night, and we have to say bye bye to the last manu player van der sar in this euro ...only can get to see him again in the opening of next EPL, its ok, since its not that far from now. and i think i need to reset the focus in the semi final and final for euro. i am still a bit lost! what do u guys think? since the outcome so far has been SOOOOOOOO unexpected, why dont we set up a pool here??.. haha...gimme your bet!!

Arrrggghhh, my all-time fav lost the match... that was real sad, I couldn't believe my eyes... I was kinda stunned when Russia led the whole match till the 86th-min equaliser from R.V.Nistelrooy, I thought it's gonna change the final score when they entered the ExtraTime, however, we were insulted by two tallies in extra time, sigh, just like Euro 2000 and Euro 2004, our team just do not have the luck...
When can we see the next M.V.Basten, D.Bergkamp, M.Overmars, P.Cocu, J.Stam, P.Kluivert, E.Davids etc...?

hi chris, ya i agree, we can actually use the word "insult" to describe the whole situation. i really felt for the dutch. so sad to look at all the faces after the extra time, when the whistle was blown. :(... and yesterday nite, aiyo, extra time again, bloody tired these days..now i have to say, bye bye buffon :0 .....what do u think abt the semi-final then?
Chui Ling basically i think the Dutch is not playing at their top! The russian players all got nothing to lose and they really breaks the Dutch momentum that night!Dutch players all too confident of themself, they neglect one thing its call Guus Hiddick!!!!!!! The Russia coach!! Very unpredictable and very good coach!

ling 姐- Geee...Buffon is kinda old...oops anyways, about semi-finals...hmmm, since Netherlands is already 'retired', I'd rather see Turkey vs Russia in the final. Talking about semi-finals, Turkey is a very hardworking team, they created miracles that WOWed the whole world, especially in World Cup 2002. If the Germans continue playing conservatively, they might get caught offguard by the Turks. Good Turkish players like H.Altıntop – a Bayern Munich player, he knows how the Germans play the ball and might even thrash the Germans out of a sudden, look out for that. It would be no surprise if the Turks beat the Germans, my bet definitely goes to the Turks.
aik chin- You raised a very good point there- Guus Hiddink (a Dutchman too) Yeah, he's undeniably one of the most respected coaches in the world, just look at how he created a miracle building up a mythical S.Korea team that beat Portugal, Italy & Spain in World Cup 2002 and became the first Asian team to reach World Cup semi-finals. I would say the core factor why the Dutch lost the match was because of their stamina - they were chasing the ball tiringly. Look at the S.Korea & Russia teams trained by Guus Hiddink, they can easily play for 120 mins without a breath.

hi chris, i know buffon is kinda old, thats y i am counting down his appearance lor....hahaha...but he really acted like a big brother everytime without fail. hey, u guys here are real pro football fans! if i am not mistaken, Guus Hiddink also led the australians in 06 world cup, m i right? (long ago, almost forgot!)though the australian didnt go really far, but it was way better than what they achieved before...
