sure u heard of the topic for this week on "ga sai guang cheung".... thats y i am opening this blog for discussion.... got a comment from dino asking me to promote the idea of spaying dogs. hey, dino, u really got me at the right time, i just came back from the vet with my granddaughter fei mui, who had her surgery this afternoon. some people said we, human have no right to take away their natural ability of giving birth. but when u see all those unwanted dogs on the streets. u would rather do it. fei mui is my daughter, lulu's daughter. lulu also got pregnant by accident. some owners may think: hey i keep my dog at home, its perfectly fine! but we cant be that sure. lets say one day, your dog runs out, has some fun, then comes back. if yours is a girl, haha.. u might end up like me; if yours is a boy, u may have your grandkids, its just that u dont realize at all...moreover, spayed dogs will have lower chance of having diseases related to reproductive organs. i once had a cocker spaniel, didnt get spayed, she ended up having uterus cancer. ... sigh!
anyway, i fully support adoption. there are so many lovely dogs out there, dying for a good home. I have a group of friends who always help the strays... and we will be setting up a booth during the last weekend of this month,(28th-29th march) - "PUPPIES FOR ADOPTION"... will get more information for u guys once i have it.... see if u are interested to take one home.
oh... btw, i have just spoken to 林忠彪, he also has 2 dogs up for adoption.. anyone interested?

i can't agree more~! it's the only way we, as the owner, to stop creating more stray dogs..
it make me sad every time some "special team" comes and kill all the stray dogs~!
There is just way to many ppl just take pets for granted, They buy dogs for the sake of cute and just leave it there when they got it

hi celine, when a dog licks yr face for a few times, it shows they wanna be nice to u.. but sometimes some dogs lick u CONTINUOUSLY, some owners may mistaken this as a friendly act, instead he/she might think that he/she is the authority, but not u... coz he/she will think U R UNDER HIS/HER CONTROL. If this becomes a habit, your dog would be a bit difficult to train in the future..one of the my pups does that all the time, i also got the wrong impression at first, i thought she just missed me too much or she was bored.. till i did some research on it... thank god its still not too late coz she is only 8 mths...does yrs do that all the time?

i'm having 3 dogs in my house currently,
at 1st was 4 dogs but dead 1...huhuhu....
know what, treat dog not as a pet,
treat them as ur family....
they really can feel it~!
dog can feel it whether ur real person is like or dislike them....
some of my frens really dislike dog,
once they come to my house,
my doggie keep barking on them,
some frens do like dog,
when they come,all my doggie juz be silent and shaking their tail...
so...no need to tell them,
they reali can feel whether human like them~! ^^ haha....
Sometimes,
my dog look at me with an very "pity eyes" ,
but it didnt got any action, no voice, no tail shaking,
only keep looking at me with an very pity eyes...
seems like it got something to tell me....
why ah? i feel sad when it be like dis....

i totally AGREE for spaying the dog or nurture them... actually, this is why irresponsible owner loves to abandon their dog once they found it pregnant on the street, esp in small town, u will see alot... then, this stray dog wonder around and being tortured by the so called "kind hearted human" (outlook)... but behind... huh, they are Evil... pouring hot water to the dog, beating them with a stick... and etc.. and i would wanna tell u ... i am a dog lover, all the the in my home, all adopted on the street half dead and some bought in from clinic in ipoh due to some owner put their dog in the clinic and ask the doctor to put them to "sleep" due to stupid reason she is old, he is blind, i cant take care of him, she is disable...bla..bla...bla... and i adopted some of them, i still have to pay... nonsense right? Human crazy for money... without reason 9_9

彤皓途经... sorry to reply u so late.. ya i agree with u, esp i am by myself here in kl, they are really my family..
i also had a cocker who passed away 3 years ago. u know what? my family and i still put aside the amt of money we used to spend on her, we put that few hundred HKD into a can, the can we used to store her treats, then from time to time, we use the $$ to help the unwanted dogs in SPCA hong kong. isnt it great? thats my mom s idea! i think its brilliant!
and recently i met a dog owner, whose dog passed away not long ago. she said she knows someone who can speak dogs language! i found it a bit weird, sounded like the chinese "問米"..hahaha...do u think there are human who really can speak their language? she siad she found this western lady online...... strange! :0
piscesng, we are having a puppy adoption activity in the coming weekend, maybe i can ask a favour from u to spread this msg across to all the dog lovers, i will put up a new post once the poster is done. one of my friends, also volunteer, is designing it now. guess the layout will be ready in a day or two...

i very agree with u abt spaying the dog.
every time when i saw those stray dog almost knock down by car or died because knock down car, i will very sad for whole day.
this is because of those irresponsible owner.
if i want to join ur team as a voluntees to rescue the stray dog, is it possible, o is there any procedure.
